The BLS Provider Certification is for healthcare professionals. This certification is for those working in healthcare such as doctors, nurses, medical assistants, dentists, and physical therapists. In this course we discuss, learn, and practice how to perform high quality CPR to adults, children, and infants with the use of an AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator), and what to do in choking situations. This certification is issued by the American Heart Association and valid for 2 years.
The Heartsaver Certification is for non healthcare providers who want or need to be certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid. Babysitters, learn how to safely perform CPR to help you get more babysitting gigs by giving parents a piece of mind. New parents, take that extra step in being more prepared to welcome your new baby. In this course we discuss, learn, and practice how to perform high quality CPR to adults, children, and infants with the use of an AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). The course also goes over what to do in choking situations, and basic First Aid which will be included with the certification. This certification is issued by the American Heart Association.
Some professions will require you to have both a BLS Provider and First Aid certification. We can help you get both in one class. In this course we discuss, learn, and practice how to perform high quality CPR on adults, children, and infants with the use of an AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). The course also goes over what to do in choking situations and basic First Aid. The First Aid certification would be a separate certification from the BLS Provider. Both certifications are issued by the American Heart Association.
